    IT'S DESTRUCTION-MONDAY...

    here in Arizona. And my construction workers don't seem to care a bit about papers, stamps, photographs or dies.

    Grrrrr - they just keep trudging past my studio, leaving a trail of drywall dust in their wake.

    So I've covered everything with sheets, put an extra layer of plastic over my paper stash...and retreated to the guest room. Along with the dogs.

    {We'll see who holds out longer. Me or the beasts!}

    For some creative inspiration today, I've got a couple of pages to share.

    The first one is from EmmBee...

    She started on this last week, does the layout look familiar? It's the Scrapy Land Starting Blox #1. She just flipped it over on its side, and filled in some of the photo-spots with journaling instead. I LOVE IT!

    She used her Silhouette SD to cut out the peanut butter jar and banana. Then she grabbed her dies and used the QK CC Breakfast {for the bread, plate and knife} Holiday 4x8 {spreading}, Oatmeal {the, with}, Gazebo {love}, Diesel Classic {Poppy}, QK Beads border, 2x2 Heart Speech  Bubble, Aquarius 4x8 {L, O, V, E} and her Copic C3 for a bunch of shadows and all around accents.

    What an adorable page, documenting a precious memory. Memories ladies - that's what it's all about.

    Of course, you don't have to just scrapbook memories. You could do what Veronica did and scrapbook plans...

    This is a page with no pictures, because the event hasn't happened yet. It's a race Veronica has registered to run in this spring. She said if the page was already designed, she'd have more accountability to going through with it! What a great idea!

    Veronica used the QK CC Runners from the January release, along with the 2x2 Running Shoe, her Teriyaki and Central Park fonts and some Glimmer Mists for this awesome masking effect.

    All she has to do is have her hubby snap a picture as she blazes through the finish line, and she'll be all set. Another page for the books. GO GET 'EM Veronica, we'll be cheering for you!

    My husband just left for the NFL Combine, and the construction crew is here all week. {Did I mention the drywall dust?} To keep my mind off of the fact that he bailed on me - how about a Scrapy Land LIVE?!?!

    "Stamping 101"

    No password needed, no supplies necessary. Just an informative demo about stamping, clear acrylic, red rubber, paper and ink and some basic coloring techniques. If you have any specific questions you'd like me to address or demo, please leave a comment here so I am prepared to answer them for you.

    And if you would, leave the girls some comment-love...it makes their scrappy day! If you have any other questions that I can help you with, please feel free to do the same. I'll try my best to get back to you with a comment-answer!

    Hammering be damned!

    I'm here for your habit...
