August 17, 2009 at 8:34 AM to turn my fan off.
Which normally doesn't mean a hill of beans to you all. But since I recorded another video this morning - it might mean something to you this morning!
So please, excuse the obnoxious droning of my little lime green fan. You'll be hearing it in the background during this video! {LOL}
I realized that no one has been talking about Spellbinders Nestabilities in conjunction with their Epic Six. That's almost criminal! So when Terry email me Saturday about embossing her "Nesties" - I had to remedy the situation immediately!
I emailed Terry the results of my "play time" - so she was happy. Hope you're equally happy, now that you know how to emboss your Nestabilities!
Starting Blox Week #26 pages are due today - no later than noon PDT please! I'm going to really do my best to get a new Starting Blox for you tomorrow - along with your pages posted. I leave town Wednesday morning...so I need 'em posted before then don't I?
Questions or comments about using your Nesties in your Epic Six - let me know!
I'm here for your habit...

July 18, 2009 at 10:17 AM has taken over my house this morning.
I admit - I'm a logo freak. I often buy things based on how cute/unique/classy their logo is. And I just LOVE this logo...so dang hip! This is on the top of the box.
The side of the box shows the machine itself. I'm not positive how they will ship...mine came inside of another brown box. My guess is they will all ship that way, because there isn't really a space for a shipping label...but that's just a guess!
Here is my "handle-less Revolution" stacked on top of the Epic box. For size reference purposes. It's substantial, to say the least. One thing I love...not a lot of wasted packaging. This box fits the 2 platforms and the one cutting plate and the machine. There are two small pieces of foam to cushion everything...but that's it! Thanks QuicKutz for designing the packaging as environmentally-friendly as possible!
And the EPIC! I tried to weigh it this morning, but it's too light to register on my bathroom scale. But all-in-all, the Epic feels about the same weight as the Revolution and the 12" platform together.
These are the two platforms that come in the box. Love that they are clearly labeled! For right now - I am going to call the dark one "ebony" and the light one "cloudy". You'll see why here in a second. {Remember - ebony and cloudy!}
When you flip the platforms over - you'll notice they have different shaped holes on the bottom. You'll always know which side is the right side - AND you can tell them apart no matter how they are laying on your scrap table! But watch this Susan-ism:
The platforms are SO NICELY sized...13"x 6". Look at how many QuicKutz border dies fit across the cutting platform! Eighteen 2x2 dies fits here, and three 4x4 dies. LOVE IT! And just think of the Cookie Cutter dies!!
Here is one last look {my feet were scorching, standing on the pavement barefoot!} at the whole shootin' match! Ain't it so purtty!
OH - and the handle. LOVE THE HANDLE. I've never been told I have dainty hands...man-hands is more like it! So I admit, I was a bit worried when I saw the built-in handle. I was sure it would be too small for me. But it is perfect! It carries comfortably and easily - nothing jiggled {on the machine - LOL!} as I walked outside. Only the handle swung back and forth slightly! {anyone up for Scrapy Land hand tattoos?}

July 2, 2009 at 10:50 AM because the Scrapy Land blog is back to normal.
There is no way I could have placed this image without the QK Transfer Paper. I chose to cut this image from the QK Black Vinyl, because I wanted the look of sticker letters. This made the Transfer Paper the perfect tool of choice!
