STRIKE UP THE BAND...

and roll out the red carpet

because it's time to read the names!

{Okay, type the names, but you know what I mean!}

This decision was not one we took lightly. Dani and I have been discussing "the team" for quite some time now. He had suggestions, I had suggestions. He had a vote, I had a vote. I cracked a joke, I'm sure he rolled his eyes. I asked for 14, he agreed to four {up from the "2 or 3" we originally were looking for}.

But the forty-two applications for the Scrapy Land Design Team were pondered for quite some time. We were searching for creative and fun, daring and bold. I was hoping for blog-versed and inventive as well.

Dani emailed me Tuesday afternoon with "the list". He agreed to make the final choice because he's good like that {thanks big guy!}. And now I get to share that list with the entire Scrapy Land audience.

These ladies are destined to become the best bunch of enablers and the most inspiring group of scrappers around. {Totally fitting for the #1 Independent Retailer of QuicKutz in the United States, don'tcha think?}

You may recognize a couple of these scrappers, and a couple you might not. Either way, they are all part of the Scrapy Land blog family as of today. Together we will head into 2010, alongside all of you. Ready to preserve our memories, use our supplies, create some fun, share some tips ...and hopefully giggle a time or two along the way.

Thanks to each and every one of you who applied. I continue to be amazed at the talent in our midst.
