    THE EYES HAVE IT...

    and I'm here to oblige! {get it, eyes...sneak peeks from yesterday...spooky eyes!}

    Okay, never mind - I need more coffee!

    Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, wants to see Brenda's Gypsy projects. Eleven emails yesterday, from those that already have their Gypsys, begging me to tell them more about these cute projects. Early!

    They wanted the ultimate sneak-peek...can you believe that?

    {LOL}

    I can believe it! Because Brenda's little treat-bag projects are adorable. But I fought off the troops, and waited until today to share the full sized pictures of these cuter-than-cute projects!

    Now I don't have a Gypsy...so I'm relaying this information second-hand. If after seeing these projects you have specific Gypsy-project questions, you'll have to leave a comment-question for Brenda. Because basically I'm clueless.

    Only about the Gypsy though!

    Here is how cute Brenda's Gypsy is looking right now...

    This is the Cherry Blossom Silicone Sleeve. CUTENESS!

    The picture is a teeny bit blurry because Brenda is twittering with excitement about her new Gypsy. The features, the ease and the portability of this fun little machine! She worked on these projects last week at the Powder Puff football game and at the doctor's office! Scrappin' on the go! Gotta love it.

    {The doctor's office visit was not a result of the Powder Puff football game...no worries!}

    Here is a close-up screen shot of the Gypsy in action. At the top, she is designing the inverse-scalloped strip of cardstock that will form the actual bag for these projects. The cylinder, if you will. The bottom image is overlapping rectangles to make a Star of David shape. When the points are connected this hexagon will form the bottom-of-the-bag.

    But let's look at the finished projects, and I think you'll get where we are going with this.

    OH FOR CUTENESS...

    Frankenstein, Jack-O-Lantern and Black Cat. Each one stuffed with wonderful, bite-sized chocolaty goodness!

    Do you see the inverse-scalloped bag? There is a Scor-Pal crease at every scallop's point, which then folds into a hexagon shaped "tube". The bottom-of-the-bag is just glued into place, with tabs from the rectangles.

    Once your bag is created, it's all about the shizzle. And trust me, Brenda knows shizzle. Cricut shapes, Cricut designs, QK dies, QK shapes, hand cut fringes, ink and chalk and that wonderful white gel pen of hers!

    Wicked Witch, Ms. Vampiress and Mr. Mummy! The details are adorable and make each and every one of these totally unique!

    And just to clear up any lingering confusion - here is a picture of the bottom-of-the-bag. From the overlapping rectangle picture above...

    Make a bit more sense now? How these all go together? It's just a matter of picturing it in your mind, drawing it out on the Gypsy software and letting it work with your Cricut.

    EDITED TO ADD: the finished sizes of the bags themselves is roughly 5.5" tall. Hope that helps a bit!

    But what's with that red bottom-of-the-bag up there, you're asking. Oh that's one final bag Brenda made. Just to show what you could try, if Halloween isn't your thing...

    Red bag, black belt, white hunk that has been embossed. So cute! I think these would make adorable little treat bags for kids to leave out for Santa himself!

    Brenda is lovin' her Gypsy. She's taking it everywhere with her, and will share more fun creations in the future. If you're anxious to get your hands on a Gypsy place your order at Scrapy Land today.

    {Thanks Brenda for the amazing projects...you rock the electronic cutting world!}

    If you have questions, leave us a comment and we'll get back to you with a comment-answer.

    I'll have to call Brenda and let her know you've asked something though. She'll likely be sitting in the grocery story parking lot with her Gypsy! {LOL}

    "WOO-HOO", "WOOT-WOOT"...

    and a "how-dee-sistah" thrown in for good measure!

    The start of a new week means so many possibilities, and I just love it!

    {Of course, it also means so many requirements...but for now, let's focus on the positives!}

    Let's focus on the possibilities!

    My friend Brenda sent me a bunch of goodies over the weekend. And so did my friend Jane (a.k.a. Box of Colors). It's so nice to have friends that share their work with me. Over the course of the week I'm going to share ALL of their projects - and I hope some of them will inspire some fun possibilities for you!

    Because remember, we're focusing on the possibilities and not on the requirements!

    Brenda made a couple of fun cards the other day, and she also made two videos to go along with them. {Guess she knows how much you all love videos! LOL} She calls this a "Spinner Card", and she admits that the idea has been around for quite awhile. But for this project she took the time to figure out the measurements for making one with her Cricut. Which I realized means it could also be made with a Silhouette. I LOVE IT!

    Here are Brenda's "Spinner Cards"...

    For this card she used her Cricut Design Studio software to create her business-layer, then she used the strawberry from the QK Flirt Gift Set for the piece that actually spins. I mean, you rock the card and the strawberry SPINS! CUTENESS!

    On this one she used the same measurements, template and instructions - but she used a QK 3D Butterfly for her spinning element. Cuter-than-cute!

    For the scoop on the how and the what, watch Brenda explain it herself...

    But Brenda didn't stop there! No she didn't - she wanted to remind us how easy it is to make our own A2 envelopes.

    So she did it with a SECOND VIDEO...{and the crowd goes wild!}

    How fun are these?!?!

    {Trust me - they are FUN!}

    So start canvasing your kitchen drawers for spare pennies - and grab your Scor-Pal, because I see a few spinning cards in your future. {And here's a hint - kids LOVE these! They can't put them down...especially when they learn there are pennies buried inside!}

    Leave Brenda some comment-love. Let her know that we appreciate her ideas, her techniques... and videos! Thank you Brenda, from the bottom of my cute-card-lovin'-heart!

    Now, Brenda did her cards with the Cricut, but they would be just as easy to do with your Silhouette. She gave you the measurements, so the hard work is already done. Just draw a card front, a long skinny rectangle and a couple of circles and your golden!

    Let us know how it goes - and if you finish up something super-cute send me a picture! Lately I've just LOVED opening my email...projects, ideas, suggestions, pages, pictures, stories and all kinds of scrappy-goodness! THANK YOU - all of you!

    Pages going up soon...very VERY soon. The weekend kind of sucked my energy dry. You know - pens and compost and wheelbarrows and lamb feed. {LOL}

    SCRAPY LAND LIVE!...

    ON THE AIR...has been postponed.

    Just not enough time to stop my progress this afternoon - so next Tuesday we'll do the same cute project. Same time - same stuff - just next Tuesday instead.

    {sorry girls!}

    I'll be pre-writing a couple of posts, and leaving you in Brenda's creative hands for the next couple of days. She's got some GREAT projects and adorable ideas to share.

    {wait 'til you see what she's done with Boo!}

    Here's a little something to start you off with...

    Brenda used the Cricut Hello Kitty cartridge for the shape on the front of her card. She pop-dotted it for some fun dimension. I think it's adorable!

    Inside the card she used her Cricut Design Studio software to make her sentiment...

    Cute and generic for any card-sending need!

    Brenda clued me in to the font she used too. It's a free font that can be found by clicking RIGHT HERE!

    {Thanks Brenda!}

    Keep checking the blog for more projects to come. And behave while I'm out of town!

    {LOL}
