FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY...

This post was supposed to auto-post on Friday, but again the settings failed me! Here it is, some buttony inspiration for the week, instead of the weekend!

and hopefully we've given you some weekend-scrappin' inspiration this week!

Personally, I want to dig through my trinket jars, sort out miles of ribbon tangles, and paint some chipboard. But it'll have to wait. Instead dorm move-in and 2 days of fierce marching band try-outs is in store for this mom.

For another idea for using up your stash, Kathy has an amazing usage idea...

Kathy started with the "Alora" collection kit from BoBunny.  Then she dug out a cherished chipboard circle frame from our friends at Technique Tuesday. She inked that up and then started covering the entire surface with buttons. Small and large, blues and reds...NINETY buttons were depleted from her stash! She added a 12" border of LC "Waves" for some linear impact - and journaled on a border strip going in the opposite direction. Lots of fun colors and shapes and textures going on here! OH - and these Glue Dots came in pretty handy during this project! With buttons, they're a must!

So while I'm finishing up my final 600 miles of driving today - you all can start digging for buttons and bling and baubles - oh my! I'll be jealous, but I'm mentally scrappin' right along with you!
