NEW EMBOSSING FOLDERS...

are in the house! WOOT WOOT!

Nothing like a stack of embossing folders to get the creative juices flowing. If you had your CHA QK Embossing folders on pre-order from Scrapy Land you will soon be a very happy scrapper. Lots of great patterns in this bundle! And even though the 12" embossing folders have been put on indefinite "hold" - all of the A2 and 2x2 sizes are en route to Dani, and will soon be flying around the country to you.

The first A2 Embossing folder I opened was the Swirls Pattern. LOVE this one...

Supplies Used: QK Swirls Embossing Folder, Spellbinders Labels Eleven Nestabilities, Pink Cat Studios - Enchanted Lily {image and sentiment}, QK Billboard Sign Set {sentiment shape}, Viva Decor Sunny Yellow and a handfull of Copics {shown below}.

Here is how the colors worked out for this coloring job: G21, G94 and G99 {lily pad and frog}, R00, R20 and R22 {fairy dress, wings and flower on her wand}, YR21 and YR24 {large flower}, Y11, Y21 and a touch of YR21 {fairy hair}, E50, E00 and R00 {fairy face & cheeks} and Y28 {fairy crown and base of wand}.

And I'd love for you to take special note of the layered Spellbinders-cut shapes behind my colored image. I used the largest shape for the pink die-cut shape, and the next size down from that to cut the image itself. But I've figured out an easy trick to make an even larger shape...the shape that my striped paper is. I'll teach you this trick, this week during...
