June 24, 2009 at 3:45 AM OH I'M LEAVING ON A JET PLANE...
don't know when I'll be back again!
{HAH - I'll be back Sunday morning...but that doesn't rhyme!}
I'm probably somewhere between Arizona and Denver right now...but I have a few things to share with you anyway!
FIRST - for those of you who are STILL on the fence about purchasing a Scor-Pal...head over to The Scrap Review. I did a full-on evaluation of the tool today AND whipped up a couple of cute projects, if I do-say-so-myself! {One of them may look rather familiar! LOL} You know I love this tool - but I tried to show a few other fun tricks using the Scor-Pal and it just might sway your decision!
ETA - just checked and it looks like my review is running tomorrow!
I checked with Dani yesterday and he's got them IN STOCK right now. But I'm willing to bet they won't last long.
If you hop over there - I'd love it if you'd leave some comment love. Share what you think of your Scor-Pal, tell everyone where you got yours, or link to your completed projects! WE LOVE comments {and it makes me look good to the higher ups!}.
SECOND - check out this adorable scrapbook page that Brenda sent me!
Is this stinkin' cute or what? For her adorable "half-page-border" she used: the NEW QK Revolution Window, NEW QK Ladder, QK 2x2 Campfire, QK Revolution Flourish, QK Dragonfly font, Go Kreate Boo For You, Go Kreate Builder Boo (for his hat, vest, hose nozzle and axe), Go Kreate Gardening Boo (for his boots)...and the QK Christmas Lights/Ornaments border from the-store-that-can-not-be-named for the hose! OHMYCUTENESS! The house siding and cinder blocks are just cardstock and ink but look so amazing!
Now - if you've got an actual fire to scrapbook {heaven forbid} this would work. But it would also work for Elvis pictures from Vegas {hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin' love!} or pictures of the school field trip to the firehouse. Or a picture of your new Dalmatian puppy maybe. Or how about honeymoon pictures! {hee hee} Okay, that might be stretching it a bit - but THIS FIRE BEAR IS CUTE! So I'm determined to figure out a way to get it into my scrapbook!
Do you have any ideas for it? Maybe a slight alteration of Brenda's idea? Who else could be climbing up the ladder? Ideas...anyone...anyone! Leave us a comment and share you brainstorms!
I'll check in later, from the airport!
I'm here for your habit...

Safe flying! Brenda, the LO is just too cute. Just received a photo of my 9mth old nephew dressed up as a firefighter. Might need to scraplift a bit. LOL
Now, I'm off to check out the Scrap Review. . . .
I LOVE this layout! Its adorable!!!!!
Cute, cute, cute!!!!! Love the little firebear.
Hope you had a safe flight. I'll be looking for you (but not stalking ROTFLOL)
THis is a very cute LO. I have NO time to make anything right now - but ideas enough to make my head spin. Ladder could be used for engagement card under window with Prince Charming on his way up and a blushing young lady at the window. And you DID it again - got me in trouble - guess who had to go out and by a Scor-Pal today.... Got it here in Denmark - a bit big to send overseas.
