A TYPICAL TUESDAY...

in that there is a lot to do - and only four days left to do it all in!

What the heck happened to Monday?

Thanks for welcoming Brenda so warmly yesterday. I just knew you girls would love her! We have big BIG plans, and we're going to get them started next Monday. Sure, I taunted you with it yesterday, and we mentioned it on the message boards last night - but I just can't wait. I have to break out with an OFFICIAL TEASER.

Right here, right now!

Oh sure, it's sneakie and it's small and it's only snippets of a look-see...but it IS a teaser. You can't argue with me on that one. Suffice it to say - if you haven't ordered any of the awesome Go Kreate dies...you might want to rethink that decision! SOON!

At this point, I'd recommend at least 2 of these:

Now, I know some of those are out of stock. They are crazy popular! But Dani is writing an impassioned email to Zafar today. He's going to see if he can't pull some strings. So patience please. I'll update the blog, and Dani will notify the message boards when he has more information! THANKS!

I'd also recommend giving all of your other Go Kreate dies, your QuicKutz dies and your Spellbinders dies a once-over...just so you know what you have and where they all are. This idea is going to take OFF and you won't want to be left behind...searching for your retired QK Chef's Hat die or the QK Tool Box that you've only used once before!

If you have any specific questions - leave a comment (Brenda or I will try to provide a comment-answer) or shoot me an email!

One more thing for today - just as a follow up to Saturday's cute card! When I finish one project, I always try to make another project with the left over supplies. It gets something else made - which is GOOD. And the more I use up, the less I have to clean up - which is BETTER! So I had a stack of QK Galoshes in front of me all day Sunday - and my daughter busted out with "mom, it looks BOOT-IFUL in your scrap room!"  That was all it took - 12 cards later my mess was all but used up!

These were quick and easy...because I did them assembly-line style. I used: QK Chick-a-Dee font, QK Galosh, QK Flower w/ Stem and my Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals.

I pulled out my white gel pen - trying to mimic the awesome pen-work that Kristen and Brenda do. But I definitely need some more practice. It's a skill - and I'll get there. For now - I think I'll stick with my Grey Copics though and leave the white pens to my amazing guest designers!

Don't forget to VOTE in the poll. I'm still deciding what to do on Friday afternoon when Finished It! Friday is posted. Your poll answers just might make a difference! I have SIX pages already! WOOT WOOT! Don't be shy girls - get busy!

Questions, comments, ideas, suggestions, or any awesome recipe ideas for no-meat-Fridays...let me know!

I'm here for your habit...

Susan it is funny how you give a teaser.

You are so bad.

I really like the way you used that rain boot... and I love that you used your daughter's lingo as inspiration for the card.... you just never know where inspiration is going to come from.

That looks like Boo paper.

Looks great, Susan!!!
When I highlight with the white pen, I think of where is my "light source"? If you have a lamp on and you are reading, that is your light source. The light cannot highlight the pages, and the bottom of the book at the same time. It also doesn't fill in around the corners or into the fold of the book. So your light is only going to hit one side and one angle of the letters. I don't know if any of this makes sense. I don't have a camera, but let me know if this explanation helps at all.
Luv and Hugz!!!
