December 6, 2009 at 6:42 PM DAY SIX...
means we are to the half-way point.
Six videos done, six more to go. {WOW, time flies when you're having a bunch of fun. Huh?}
Tonight, Sunday night, is Day Six...

Here are the boots I made...showing you that you really can make a one-way die go both ways! {LOL}

The supplies I used in this video: QK 2x2 Boots and my Scor-Mat {love this thing, really, I use it all the time!}
BIG WEEK this week, three more recorded videos and three more LIVE! shows.
A couple of reminders:
- Starting Blox #35 are due Tuesday. They will be posted in the Finished It! Friday on the 11th.
- Scrapy Land Design Team submissions are due on Friday the 18th. The stack is getting very high, and I'm so excited about what I'm seeing. This decision is going to be V-E-R-Y difficult! If you haven't finished up your projects yet, I hope you will. Wouldn't it be fun to have to expand the team, even before we started!??!?! {hang on, did you hear that thud? Dani just fainted!}
Thanks for your patience this weekend. I hope you'll all join me for a great upcoming week.
And WHEE - did you notice that the blog-hits just rolled over to NINETY THOUSAND? Scrapy Land rocks - oh yes it does. The best store, the best customers and the best scrappers around!
I'm here for your habit...

Great tip! Can you do a whole video of tips, tricks & techniques?
oh Carolyn - THANKS! See I knew someone would benefit from this Sunday tip!
YAY for quickie-QK-tips!!!
:D
An entire video of tips and tricks? Hmmmm - sounds like Scotch Tape and QPPU to the rescue!
Whatdaya say girls???
Well, I did not think I needed to watch this---I knew you could flip them, but I did not know about making the edge look normal! I guess old QK users can learn new tricks too! I will be sure to pay attention to any tricks you have to share! Thanks! :)
MB, would that be called "teaching an old dog a new trick"????
I'm just wondering!!!
LOL - glad you got something out of this quick-tip!
:D
I learned something new too. Like MB I knew I could flip my cuts but I never knew I could make the edges match--yay! I always found it annoying when the one edge would be flipped up. Thanks Susan!!
Well this 'old dog' did indeed learn a new trick. I have flipped things before and have roughed up edges, but love this tip!
Thanks Susan, looking forward to the next 6 days
Karen
I am so glad that this "old dog" has such good company! Thanks again for enlightening us Susan! :D
Great tip, I too knew about flipping but never paid attention to the edges. Easy to fix now. Thanks Susan.
