November 24, 2009 at 4:30 AM AND SO IT CONTINUES...
our very own, scrap-inspiring week!
Sure we have to share this week with the airlines, the grocery store owners and the FTD delivery guys. And we will, but on Thursday.
The rest of the week is ours.

Lots of good comments yesterday - thanks for starting the week off with a big turnout!
But today I want to know what little thing are you thankful for? Silly, goofy, maybe even selfish? You're allowed, no one is going to judge. As long as the silly balances out the serious - you're doing great!
Today - I'm grateful for frequent flyer miles. YEP - goofy and trivial, but true. My husband travels a lot. A LOT! And sometimes, the only thing that gets me through one of his trips is knowing that he's getting us another bunch of miles closer to our next tickets. And we like tickets! Most recently my boys went to Nebraska for the Homecoming football game. It was a great "guys weekend" - made possible by frequent flyer miles.
So call me silly, call me selfish - but today I'm grateful for lots and lots of miles!
to showcase this picture of my son. {Who was so nervous to be standing this close to two University of Nebraska cheerleaders, that he forgot to stand up straight. He's practically bent at the waist!} Too funny - I added a few editorial comments on the back of this layout. You know - mom notes! I love doing that!
Seriously - if you don't have this die in your stash yet...grab it now. I am lovin' it and am going to keep using it all week long!
We received a few more Design Team submissions today. WOW you girls sure aren't procrastinators like I am! The deadline is still 3 and a half weeks away and we already have six entries! I LOVE IT! I knew you would jump at the chance to be a part of this...I just knew it. I get excited just thinking about it!
If you didn't get the email from Dani - Scrapy Land LIVE! On the Air is tonight. November 24th, 6pm MST (5pm California, 6pm Colorado, 7pm Illinois and 8pm Florida). It's "Letterpress 101". Those of you who saw the LIVE! show during the virtual crop know how it will work. I have some new plates, we'll open them up and do some experimenting.
I have learned a few tricks that I'd like to share and some tips for when you get your own Letterpress kits in your hands. GOOD STUFF.
No password tonight - just follow the link to UStream from the side-bar, here on the blog!
Hope to see you in the studio. Until then, leave a comment and share something you're thankful for that is a bit less serious than yesterday. Come on - you know you want to!
I'm here for your habit...

I am thankful for simple needs/wants.
There is very few things on the Christmas lists and they say they have everything they want or need.
Cute page...again :) The mom notes on the back are a great idea...I'll have to start doing that.
This morning's thankful for:
festive scented candles
a thawing turkey
happy kids
Oh my gosh, I love that layout, too cute. Reminds me of the time my middle son, let's see he was about 11 and saw a couple hooter girls at the car show, lol. He turned all shades of red, it was comical. I wish I had a camera at the time to snap a picture. I am thankful that our city has an NFL team that I can go watch, and cheer for and hmmmm guys in tight white pants, lol.
Great Layout! I'm loving the die. Will you be taping tonight's show?
Love this page too! Your son looks so SMOOTH with his arms around the girls.
Today I am thankful for band night at Chick-fil-a which means I won't have to cook dinner and the band gets a percentage of the proceeds from purchases.
And always I am thankful for my family, our health, friends, etc. and the list goes on.
Today I'm thankful for electricity! In the past we had to live without for 4 days straight & its nothing to take for granted. LOL So, I'm thankful every time I turn a switch & whatever it is goes ON! :)
Susan what a cute layout. Need to do the Mom notes - very clever.
Today I'm thankful for life...eighteen years ago today I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy that is growing up to be a terrific young man.
