A LITTLE THURSDAY FUN...

to get you in the scrappin' mood for the weekend.

You know, because the weekend is almost here! {wink, wink}

Miss Brenda has done it again, she's whipped up an awesome Scrapy Land Video to share today. It's for a cute little project that you and your kids or grandkids could make together. Very simple, but quite stunning.

And the sky is the limit as far as "shizzle" goes. Stickles, glitter, tinsel, bling, brads, paint, Fun Flock, puff paint...OH the possibilities.

So grab a cup of coffee and watch how she does it...

The dies she used here are the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Snowflakes. But you could use the exact same technique with these snowflakes or these snowflakes. {they just wouldn't have as many layers!} Lots of possibilities!

She did want me to clarify for you that she embossed each snowflake before she assembled her project. Die-cut with her QK Epic Six and then embossed with the Spellbinders Tan Embossing Pad, that is. The embossing steps adds a great deal of detail and texture.

What a great project this would be to do with a group of Girl Scouts, the neighborhood kids or an elementary school class. Easy to prepare ahead of time, low cost supplies and still the effect of every snowflake being different!

{OHHH...Wouldn't these be adorable gift-bag tags in your neighborhood or under the tree?}

Thanks Brenda! You crafty Diva, you! And even though it was 87° here in AZ yesterday, I am going to make a few of these to get me thinking wintry thoughts! Let's leave her some comment-love ladies!

Just a reminder - Scrapy Land Starting Blox are due today. Today at noon MST. That's 2:00pm in Florida and 1:00 pm in Illinois. Let's get on it ladies - there is a set of dies to be won!

I'm up to my eyeballs in SLVC 2.0 prep-work...but my pictures are ordered, I have lots of adhesive refills and the M&M container is full. I mean, I do have my priorities!

I'm here for your habit...

Amazingly beautiful! Can't wait to decorate with these. Exactly which silver cardstock did you use? Thanks for the creativity! :)

Excellent! I wish I would have seen this before the ornament swap. Thank you Brenda.

I can't believe I missed this post! I love that die, but since it does not snow much here I did not think I would use it much. Yet now I can justify the purchase! :)
I like to make ornaments with my nieces & nephews after Thanksgiving when the adults are sleeping or watching football!
Thanks for another great project, Brenda! :D

I don't have a name brand on the mirrored silver cardstock. I purchased it at my Local Hobby Lobby store and it is with the specialty papers in the scrapbook section. (The only tag I can find on it is the bar code.

I am glad that you liked this project.
